Evaluation of Office for Students’ Statement of Expectations Roundtable discussion for FE college and small and specialist providers of HE.
The theme for this session is: Preventing and addressing harassment and sexual misconduct affecting higher education students in FE colleges, small and specialist and newer providers of higher education.
SUMS Consulting is carrying out an independent evaluation for the Office for Students looking at whether the statement of expectations for English universities and colleges has influenced how they seek to prevent and respond to harassment and sexual misconduct that affect students.
As part of SUMS’ research for the evaluation, we are holding four online roundtable discussions via Zoom for providers later in June 2022 to discuss different aspects of the statement of expectations.
This is an opportunity for you to share your views with us about whether the statement of expectations has changed your approaches to preventing and addressing harassment and sexual misconduct, and consider what further positive change may be needed.
SUMS is running four different roundtable discussions only for staff involved in preventing and responding to harassment and sexual misconduct in English providers.
You can attend more than one of the roundtable events, but please double check the theme for the session to ensure it is the correct one.
- This will be delivered as a virtual event via Zoom
- This session is free to register
- Attendance is limited to 20 attendees per session to ensure a tailored focus and high engagement for all participants
- To ensure this opportunity is available to the widest range of English universities, colleges or other higher education providers we reserve the right to limit attendees to 1 per university or college
Registration will close at 12.30pm on Monday 20 June 2022
Please 'REGISTER' above to secure your place. Joining instructions will be sent nearer to the event.
For assistance in registering or for more information please contact Helen Baird from SUMS at firstname.lastname@example.org
All information that participants share in the discussions will be held confidentially by SUMS. At no point will the information provided be shared in a way that would allow participants to be personally identified, and any quotes in a resulting report will be anonymised. The anonymised findings from the discussions will feed into SUMS' reports from the study which will be available from the Office for Students’ website in early summer and autumn 2022.
