Procurement Expert - Procurement Shared Service
Linda is a senior procurement professional with over 18 years’ experience within the public and private sectors, working with clients to achieve performance improvement through procurement. She has successfully led and implemented a number of procurement transformation projects achieving significant benefits in profitability and efficiencies through the introduction of new purchasing strategies. She has experience of working with senior stakeholders in complex programmes where transformation across an organisation is required, leading project teams and senior sponsor groups through the transformation journey.
Linda’s experience ranges across a number of sectors including Education, Central Government, Utilities, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Retail, working with clients as diverse as DeFRA, John Lewis Partnership, The RSPCA, Toyota, Scottish Enterprise, Abbey National, Hilton Hotel Group and Britannia Airways. Her category experience includes capital programmes, corporate services, facilities and marketing. Linda is a member of CIPS.
Linda has been involved with Procurement Shared Services delivering Procurement Maturity Assessments across the HE sector since 2012.
