David’s recent projects have included supporting a transformation programme, developing other income streams and embedding change management.
Previously Director of Operations at one of the UK’s largest universities, he led a directorate of 200 staff across the areas of campus administration, strategic projects and change. His achievements include the removal of £6m from the recurrent cost base while simultaneously increasing first year student satisfaction to levels exceeding 95%. He has led business change projects across the globe with management experience in retail and local government as well as higher education.
An alumnus of Warwick Business School, David has a Master’s degree in Public Management and is familiar with the application of methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, Lean and McKinsey 7S.
David is also a devoted, but long-suffering, supporter of Preston North End.
