Liz brings expertise and fresh perspectives from over 20 years working in the fields of business advice, skills policy, education, employability, employer engagement and talent management and recruitment across all sectors. She is passionate about providing impartial insights and practical or innovative input to help organisations and individuals realise their true potential.

She specialises in understanding and formulating business goals and aligning these with a sound capability and resourcing plan. She is skilled at thinking strategically and formulating a vision as well as applying an operational dimension and implementing positive change using her programme management skills. She uses her relationship-building know-how to positively engage, influence and challenge stakeholders and facilitate a shared vision.

Her expertise has enabled numerous clients to overhaul existing approaches and introduce new innovative designs and effect positive transformational change. Working in higher education Liz successfully introduced a new strategy and designed a model to equip students with employability skills through a flagship university-wide undergraduate internship programme, and as part of this engaged with new regional and national business to enable them to develop a robust talent pipeline for future hires.

Liz successfully re-designed a higher education divisional organisational structure blueprint and capability profile to align with future business goals, increase efficiencies and reduce costs by up to 20%. She used her qualitative research skills to conduct consultations and analysis to provide a sound evidence base. And worked with the management team to challenging thinking, inspire creativity and design a fit for purpose model.

Working with a large public services employer, Liz re-shaped a UK early careers strategy and re-designed the approach to hiring. She introduced strengths methodology and a fit for purpose technical assessment working with a team of engineering directors. As a result, a new rail degree apprenticeship was launched and a pool of new talent was attracted into a sector; plugging the skills gap internally and boosting the future economy. 100% of candidates who went through the hiring process recommended the experience.

Liz holds project management qualifications APM and PRINCE2 and is a qualified coach.

In her free time, Liz loves Latin dancing, singing in a community choir, travel worldwide, fitness and exercise and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
