Rachel has 25 years’ experience advising and leading organisational change, delivering and embedding carbon reduction, environmental management and improved sustainability. She is a Chartered Energy Manager.
Rachel’s strength is collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver organisational change through understanding issues and finding solutions.
Rachel has 25 years of sustainability experience working in consultancy, public and private sectors.
She has led on the development and delivery of environmental strategies across net zero, biodiversity, travel, waste, water and energy. Working across complex sites including animal hospitals, Cat 3 labs and farm. Stakeholder engagement with staff, students, visitors, local community, and external stakeholders. Development of business case justifications to obtain internal funding approval and application for external funding for carbon reduction and heating decarbonisation.
She volunteers for the Energy Institute and as a STEM ambassador for schools.

- Development and implementation of Sustainability Strategies
- Development and implementation of Biodiversity Action Plan including volunteering opportunities
- Development and delivery of Net Zero strategies.
Outside of work, Rachel likes to visit her local outdoor pool in the summer.
