Dr Fola Ikpehai

Fola specialises in process improvement, organisational and business change, training development and delivery, programme and project management, and leadership.
She combines her expertise as a coach and mentor with strong analytical skills and a practical understanding of the challenges of implementing benefits-led change in complex organisations. Fola’s recent projects have included supporting reviews of change management and the evolution of change teams in the Higher Education Sector. She also recently supported an equality, diversity and inclusion review.
Fola joined SUMS Consulting in 2018 following a varied career in academics and research, local government, management consultancy and transformational change. While with local government, she led a business transformation programme aimed at delivering savings of over £30m across four years. In her role with Ernst & Young as a management consultant, Fola led on benefits realisation for a multi-million digital programme with a public sector client. And most recently, she led business change on an ambitious £8m digital transformation programme across six of the UK’s non-residential palaces for Historic Royal Palaces.
Fola has a Doctorate in Cellular Parasitology (a biomedical science), as well as professional training in project and programme management, training and development, and business and financial management. She is married with two sons.
