Moss brings significant expertise in registry operations and university governance from a UK and international perspective to his role at SUMS. Through his work, he delivers operational success and achieves strategic goals for staff and students whilst achieving efficiencies for institutions.

Moss has worked in the Higher Education Sector for over 20 years at various levels, with responsibilities spanning campus and institutional management, internationalisation, registry, university management and program development. He has worked towards the internationalisation of campus and programmes for institutions such as Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne Switzerland, the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Westminster. In addition, Moss has been part of the leadership of large-scale national university developments in Namibia, Botswana and Ireland.

He has used skills in leadership, strategic management, institutional planning and change management and, significant experience in university internationalisation to support ambitious visions at a variety of HE institutions. These include University College Dublin and institutions in Africa and Central Asia alongside his current role as Registrar at St Patrick’s in Ireland.

Moss currently sits on Advance HE’s Governance Advisory Board, along with non-profit education boards in Namibia. He has also attended the Peabody Institute (Vanderbilt) as a fellow in the area of university administration.

Moss is currently the under 6’s and under 9’s football coach for his local club and realised his dream of playing (badly) in an international golf tournament in 2021.
