Reina is a Digital Transformation specialist with a proven track record in business process re-engineering having worked in Finance, Marketing, Technology and Digital. She has 20+ years of experience gained across multiple sectors and internationally.
As a Finance professional, Reina provides advice on Financial Management and Operations. She also advises on strategy direction including business case development, target operating model design, system selection, business process optimisation, People, Process and Technology assessments, sourcing of best fit ERP/Finance or HR Solutions as well as IT Services and HEIS commercialisation initiatives. She is passionate excel modeller.
Reina has joined SUMS from a Management Consultancy- GoX (Global Outsourcing Exchange) where she has been a Senior Consultant on multiple transformation projects. As well as Consulting experience in public sector bodies such as University of Kingston, University of East Anglia (UEA), Transport for Greater Manchester, City of London and Borough of Tower Hamlets Reina has nearly 2 decades of private sector Strategy, Finance and Operational experience (including an ERP rollout) gained at Disney EMEA Regional Finance, Endemol Digital (Now Banijay), OCS, Teya (Fintech), Contiki Travel and many others.
As a Senior Consultant in the 2023 IT Assessment at UEA, Reina was able to identify significant areas for savings which are currently being incorporated into the Universities new Target Operating Model. Reina is originally from Malaysia and speaks Mandarin and Malay. She is a passionate foodie (skilled in both preparation and consumption) and global traveller having visited over 50 countries!
Outside work she is a keen coral reef Scuba diver. She has also been appointed church warden of St Mary’s Paddington Green since 2022.
